The Bank for Social Development announced the organization of the Français Go Commercial Concession Forum, Riyadh City, from 26 to 28 August, as part of its strategic efforts to enable business leaders and leaders to enter the world of trade excellence with awareness and confidence, and to open up prospects for expansion through successful business models within a motivated and supportive investment environment.
The Social Development Bank held its meeting for the second quarter of 2025, under the chairmanship of His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, the President of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Engineer Ahmed Bin Suleiman al-Rajjai, and in the presence of Council members, and discussed a number of topics on its agenda with a view to strengthening national efforts to serve citizens and support the development system of the Kingdom. The Board was informed of the first half of this year ' s performance report, which highlighted the Bank ' s efforts to finance and empower business leaders and develop business models, with a total funding of 4.3 billion rials, benefiting more than 43,000 citizens from various parts of the Kingdom, distributed to support free labour practitioners and productive families with a value of 1.8 billion people, benefiting more than 18,000 people from free work and productive families, and financing small and emerging enterprises with more than 20,000 citizens. .
These conventions represent an extension of the Social Development Bank ' s process of empowering target groups and promoting economic and social development in the regions, where the Bank has signed a range of development partnerships in the Al-Ques region, including cooperation agreements with the region ' s secretariat and the Al-Ques Chamber, aimed at supporting and empowering licensed self-employed practitioners and facilitating access to funding for their activities and sustainability. The conventions also included cooperation with the Chamber of Wars and the University of Solomon El-Rajji to support business leaders and emerging and small enterprises through integrated rehabilitation and financing programmes.
Participation of the Bank for Social Development at the 2025 Artisanal Forum with its strategic objectives in the operationalization of social responsibility, the empowerment of productive groups and the development of the local economy, within an integrated system that seeks to transform the artisanal legacy into an economic product that promotes family stability and improves the quality of life, while at the same time entrenching Saudi values.
His Excellency the Minister for Human Resources and Social Development, President of the Board of Directors of the Bank for Social Development, Engineer Ahmed Ben Suleiman El-Rajjay, sponsored the Suleiman Foundation Development Finance Foundation ' s " 3 billion " development finance ceremony to strengthen the strategic partnership between the Bank and the Foundation since 2014, which resulted in funding worth more than 3 billion Saudi rials, benefiting more than 200,000 productive families in various parts of the Kingdom.
His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Bandar Bin Abdulaziz, Prince of the Riyadh Region, sponsored a 53-year concert for the Social Development Bank, the launch of the 30th Avenue, as well as the signing of four agreements to support the non-profit sector, business leaders and self-employed practitioners, in the presence of H.E. the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, the President of the Board of the Bank of Engineer Ahmed Ben Suleiman Al-Rajhijai, a number of His Excellency, business leaders, business leaders and partners.
