His Excellency the Minister for Human Resources and Social Development, President of the Board of Directors of the Bank for Social Development, Engineer Ahmed Ben Suleiman Al-Rajjay, sponsored the Bank ' s signature of a number of development agreements during the visit of His Excellency Maaleh to the Al-Khalim region, accompanied by the Executive President of the Bank, Engineer Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Humidi, where the visit saw a series of events and field to enhance cooperation with community institutions, and review the Bank ' s efforts in support for economic development in the region.
These conventions represent an extension of the Social Development Bank ' s process of empowering target groups and promoting economic and social development in the regions. The Bank has signed a range of development partnerships in the Al-Ques region, including cooperation agreements with the region ' s secretariat and the Al-Ques Chamber, aimed at supporting and empowering licensed self-employed practitioners and facilitating access to funding for their activities and sustainability. The conventions also included cooperation with the Chamber of Wars and the University of Solomon El-Rajji to support business leaders and emerging and small enterprises through integrated rehabilitation and financing programmes.
The visit included an open meeting with business leaders and leaders and a number of beneficiaries, where ways were discussed to strengthen the entrepreneurial environment and empower leaders, in support of the Bank ' s role in stimulating the local economy and empowering national capacities, within the Bank ' s orientations to promote local development and enable small enterprises to sustain and expand.
It is reported that the Social Development Bank has registered an active development presence in the Al-Qalem region, through its funding programmes and non-financial services, which include training and rehabilitation support for business leaders and entrepreneurs. The cumulative funding provided to the region since the establishment of the Bank has exceeded 8 billion rials, benefiting more than 178,000 citizens and citizens, in the areas of social finance, self-employment financing, small enterprises, and support for sustainable and emerging businesses.
