The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia attaches great importance to regulating procedures related to government tenders and procurements, to enhance the utilization of contracting services, as well as consultancy and non-consultancy services. This also includes the e-Government Procurement Law, known as the "Etimad" platform.
Tenders and Procurement
Social Development Bank publishes tenders and procurement information on the "Etimad Platform," which aims to enable registered suppliers, government entities, and system visitors to view details of tenders issued by government agencies.
The platform offers numerous services to various government agencies, the private sector, and individuals, fostering partnerships to achieve the Kingdom's development project objectives. This facilitates the digital transformation of these services, enhances transparency and efficiency, and streamlines service delivery.
Upcoming (planned) tenders from the Social Development Bank can be viewed on the “Etimad Platform” by the following steps:
- Click on the "View Tenders" link.
- Click the "Search" button.
- From the filter menu, select the tender status "Active Tenders (Submission of Bids)."
- From the filter menu, click on "Advanced Search."
- From the filter menu, navigate to the government entity and select "Social Development Bank."
- From the filter menu, click the "Search" button.
You can view the completed (previous) tenders of the Social Development Bank on the Etimad platform by following these steps:
- Click on the "View Open Tenders" link.
- Click the "Search" button.
- From the filter menu, select "Completed Tenders (All)" as the tender status.
- From the filter menu, click on "Advanced Search."
- From the filter menu, navigate to the government entity and select "Social Development Bank."
- From the filter menu, click the "Search" button.

This service allows registered suppliers to participate in tenders by purchasing tender documents and specifications to review relevant details.
This service allows procurement and tendering officers in government entities to review and respond electronically to suppliers’ inquiries regarding specific tenders.
This service allows suppliers participating in a specific tender to submit their proposals electronically.
This e-service allows government entities to finalize the award process easily and efficiently by selecting the winning bid electronically, without the need to follow up with the relevant entity.
The electronic service allows the Private Sector (Vendors) to create a new Letter of Guarantee request.
