Participation of the Bank for Social Development at the Bara Forum

The Bank for Social Development participated in the Bahahah Artists ' Forum 2025, which was co-sponsored by His Royal Highness Prince Hussam Bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Amir of the Baah Region, with the participation of a number of governmental and private actors, the presence of the Deputy Governor of the General Foundation for Technical and Vocational Training, engineer Salih Al-Hushani, and a number of leaders and officials in the region.

The Bank for Social Development ' s participation at the 2025 Abbreviation Forum is consistent with its strategic objectives in the operationalization of social responsibility, the empowerment of productive groups and the development of the local economy, within an integrated system that seeks to transform the artisanal legacy into an economic product that promotes family stability and improves the quality of life, while at the same time establishing Saudi values.

In this context, the participation of the Bank for Social Development through training and mentoring sessions, as well as innovative initiatives such as Yima Kafieh and Excel, aimed at supporting the sustainability of handicrafts and linking them to the labour market, opening up the space for artisans to market their products through its digital platforms and sales platforms, with integrated support including marketing, finance and professional development.

It is noteworthy that the Bank ' s participation in the Bahahah Forum of Artists is an extension of its pivotal role in supporting national crafts as a source of sustainable income for productive families and business leaders, and the strengthening of the development empowerment system for Saudi craftsmen, ensures that its participation in such events is a genuine translation of our mission to support and empower craftsmen, transforming their skills into economic opportunities that keep pace with the vision of the Kingdom 2030 and enhance its cultural and economic identity.

The Forum, organized by the Directorate-General for Technical and Vocational Training in the Bala Region, in collaboration with the secretariat of the region, the Heritage Authority, the Baa Chamber and the Social Development Bank, has seen the participation of 18 craftsmen distributed to 12 diverse wings, with a view to highlighting traditional handicrafts and supporting craftsmen and craftsmen in preserving local cultural heritage, within a sustainable environment that contributes to strengthening national cultural identity.
