THE BANK FOR SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT ANNOUNCED THE LAUNCH OF THE PSYCHOTROPIC TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR COOKERS FROM PRODUCTIVE FAMILIES, TO DEVELOP THEIR CAPACITIES AND SKILLS IN GLOBAL AND LOCAL COOKING ARTS, TO ENABLE THEM TO MANAGE FOOD PRODUCTION LINES AND PREPARE THEM FOR PROFESSIONALIZATION IN THE LABOUR MARKET. THE LEADERS OF THE BANK ' S TRAINING PROGRAMME WILL GRADUATE IN ITS FIVE TRACKS WITH HIGH-LEVEL SKILLS IN VARIOUS WORLD AND SAUDI COOKING ARTS, AS WELL AS THE ART OF BREAD, PASTRIES, DESSERTS AND THE BEST WAY TO PREPARE THE MENU. THE PROGRAMME OFFICERS AT THE BANK FOR SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT CONFIRMED THAT THE AIM OF THE NEVES PROGRAMME WAS TO REACH SAUDI COOKS FROM PRODUCTIVE FAMILIES TO SPREAD THE SAUDI KITCHEN CULTURE AS ONE OF THE WORLD ' S ARTS AND TO ENABLE TRAINEES TO ENTER THE LABOUR MARKET WITH THE REQUISITE SKILLS TO SUCCEED. PROGRAMME STAFF EXPLAINED THAT THE BASIC SKILLS OF TRAINEES WOULD INCLUDE SAUDI KITCHEN HISTORY AND THE IMPACT OF OTHER REGIONAL CULTURES, AS WELL AS COFFEE-PREPARATION METHODS AND THE PREPARATION OF PLANT AND HEALTH MEALS, WITH AWARENESS OF THE CONCEPT OF SUSTAINABILITY IN FOOD TO REDUCE WASTE IN MEALS. TRAINING COURSES INCLUDE IDENTIFYING METHODS OF EXPLOITATION AND CONSERVATION OF LOCAL AND GLOBAL SEASONAL FRUITS AND VEGETABLES, WAYS AND MEANS OF ABANDONMENT AND BASIC DRYING, ADHERENCE TO THE PRINCIPLES OF HYGIENE AND FOOD SAFETY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GLOBAL STANDARD (HACCP), TRAINING ON METHODS FOR THE CLASSIFICATION AND MANAGEMENT OF FOOD STOCKS, AND THE USE OF KITCHEN TOOLS, WITH A VIEW TO IDENTIFYING PRICING AND MARKETING PRODUCTS AND HOW BEST TO OFFER THEM.

In November 2022, the Bank for Social Development signed a cooperation agreement with Saudi Arabia Ltd., a cooperation agreement for the financing of Saudi Arabian self-employment through participatory transport, and a promising package of financial and non-financial services that enables beneficiaries to achieve higher financial returns. The Convention provides greater opportunities for free labour practitioners to obtain additional financial income by making use of the financial options of the Bank and following up on traditional sports.

The Social Development Bank is launching a new course of funding to enable workers in the non-profit sector.

Today, the Bank for Social Development launched a funding route for non-profit sector delegates through the accreditation of their employers to the Bank ' s government portal as recipients of funding in accordance with accessible and temporary procedures. The Bank has now concluded a joint cooperation agreement with the National Centre for the Development of the Non-profit Sector, with a view to maximizing interest and ensuring that all non-profit sectors benefit from the diverse services and products of the Bank, thereby overcoming the difficulties faced by the sector in obtaining bank services. The Convention was signed by the Executive Chairman of the Social Development Bank, Professor Ibrahim Bin Hamad Al-Rashid, and the Executive Chairman of the National Centre for the Development of the Non-profit Sector, Professor Ahmed Ben Ali Al-Suelm. This was attended by a briefing on the new funding route for non-profit workers, how they have access to the social and productive financial products of the Bank, such as marriage financing, family and restoration, as well as access to free work products and emerging enterprises. For his part, the Executive Chairman, Prof. Ibrahim Bin Hamad Al-Rachd, emphasized that the objectives of the Convention would be directly reflected in the non-profit sector by enabling its workers to have all opportunities and development resources, thereby enhancing opportunities for investment in human resources by creating a secure working environment that meets all their needs, and also filling the gap in the scarcity of funding channels available to non-profit sector delegates.
