he Social Development Bank (SDB) has announced the results of its public consultation on “Aligning Education Financing Product to Meet Students Needs,” conducted via the E-Participation Platform. The consultation aimed to identify priority fields of study from the perspective of beneficiaries, thereby guiding education financing toward areas most aligned with market requirements and supporting the future aspirations of students.
The consultation witnessed broad participation, with results indicating the following preferences: 38% for Health-related disciplines, 36% for Engineering, Technology, and Artificial Intelligence disciplines, 17% for Legal and Administrative disciplines, and 9% for Cultural and Tourism disciplines.
SDB noted that these results will serve as a cornerstone for prioritizing and developing education financing options. This announcement reflects SDB’s ongoing efforts to enhance its financing programs in line with beneficiary needs and to support the development of national talent by directing financing toward high-demand sectors, while remaining committed to fostering digital engagement and involving beneficiaries in developmental decision-making.
