As Part of Its Efforts to Advance Digital Transformation Social Development Bank Launches “Noura Smart Assistant” and “Smart Collection Agent” at LEAP 2026

The Social Development Bank (SDB) announced the launch of two new digital solutions during its participation in LEAP 2026: “Noura Smart Assistant” and the “Smart Collection Agent.” The launches are part of the Bank’s ongoing efforts to advance its digital services, enhance the beneficiary experience, and improve operational efficiency, strengthening its ability to deliver greater development impact.

The launches come as Saudi Arabia, with the support of its leadership and in line with Saudi Vision 2030, continues to make rapid progress in digital transformation and the use of technology to simplify people’s lives, improve service quality, create new economic and development opportunities, and strengthen the Kingdom’s position in technology and innovation.

The new solutions reflect the progress of SDB’s digital transformation journey, built around an integrated approach that begins with beneficiaries and their journey and extends across operations, data, and platforms. In 2025, the Bank began a phased approach to adopting artificial intelligence, starting with business needs and internal readiness. This included training more than 600 employees across various departments and sectors, followed by identifying business challenges and opportunities and translating them into practical AI use cases based on clear priorities and criteria.

“Noura Smart Assistant” provides an integrated digital experience powered by generative and agentic AI technologies, helping beneficiaries access SDB services, receive relevant guidance, and complete their requests seamlessly through digital channels. Noura has surpassed one million users and now handles a volume equivalent to 50% of the total customer transactions delivered through traditional channels.

The “Smart Collection Agent” focuses on improving operational efficiency and leveraging data to better understand customer behavioral patterns and enhance communication and collection approaches. The solution is now capable of completing more than 200,000 successful collection interactions each month and has helped address collection-related challenges for more than 3,500 customers.

SDB Chief Executive Officer Eng. Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Hamidi said the launch of the two solutions marks another step forward in the Bank’s digital journey, which begins with empowering its people and improving internal processes and extends to leveraging technology to deliver a faster and more seamless beneficiary experience while strengthening the Bank’s development impact and role.

He added that SDB will continue to develop and deploy emerging technologies across its services and operations, enabling more proactive and efficient services and supporting national economic and development priorities in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
