His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, received Social Development Bank officials from the region at the Governorate headquarters to review the Bank’s efforts and achievements during 2025.

His Royal Highness emphasized the importance of continuing to develop programs and initiatives that keep pace with the Kingdom’s growth, and of providing innovative and sustainable solutions that address the needs of individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and businesses. He also highlighted the importance of enabling them to benefit from available economic opportunities, contributing to the national economy, improving quality of life, and creating sustainable impact for the Kingdom and its citizens.

Mohammed Al-Mousa, Regional Director of the Social Development Bank in the Eastern Province, explained that the Bank provides a wide range of financing products for individuals and families and supports freelancers, entrepreneurs, businesses, and the nonprofit sector. The Bank also provides non-financial services, including training, advisory services, and capacity-building programs designed to empower individuals, turn ideas and skills into productive opportunities, strengthen financial independence, and create employment opportunities. These efforts align with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and contribute to building a more diversified and sustainable economy.

Al-Mousa added that the Bank has introduced a range of non-financial programs and services to support these projects, including Jada 30, the Dulani Business Center, and the Empretec program. The Bank also offers a variety of training programs aimed at promoting a culture of self-employment, strengthening savings and financial awareness, and developing vocational and professional skills, alongside other non-financial programs provided to beneficiaries.

He noted that the next phase requires expanding both financial and non-financial solutions and developing more specialized programs that respond to beneficiaries’ needs and support the progression of ideas and projects from their early stages into sustainable ventures. He also highlighted the importance of strengthening partnerships with government entities, the private sector, and the nonprofit sector.

Al-Mousa reaffirmed the Bank’s commitment to fulfilling its development mandate and maximizing its impact in serving communities across the Eastern Province, contributing to economic and social development and supporting efforts to create high-quality, sustainable opportunities for beneficiaries.
