Eastern Province Governor Receives Social Development Bank’s Executive Vice President of Business

His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, received Abdullah bin Saad Al-Ruwais, Executive Vice President of Business at the Social Development Bank, accompanied by a number of the Bank’s senior officials, at his office today.

His Royal Highness emphasized the importance of empowering citizens to benefit from promising opportunities across various sectors, encouraging high-impact initiatives and innovative ideas, and strengthening partnerships that contribute to the development of the entrepreneurship sector. He also highlighted the importance of supporting the diversification of the local economy, expanding opportunities for economic participation, and enhancing the contribution of small enterprises and startups to development.

Al-Ruwais presented His Royal Highness with an overview of the Bank’s key programs and financial and development services in the Eastern Province, as well as its role in supporting entrepreneurship, small enterprises, and startups and enhancing their opportunities for growth and expansion.

He also highlighted the “Shor Delni” event, organized by the Bank’s Dulani Business Center in collaboration with the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce. The event aims to provide entrepreneurs with an integrated platform of support and advisory services, bringing together more than 100 consultants and experts across eight specialized fields, including artificial intelligence, electronic gaming, and logistics, to enhance startups’ readiness for sustainable growth.

Al-Ruwais reaffirmed the Bank’s commitment to continuing its efforts to provide financial and development solutions and advisory services that strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem and support the growth of startups.
