The Social Development Bank participated in the "Biban 2025" forum, organized by the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha'at) at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Convention Center, as the forum's development sponsor. This participation aligns with the bank's strategic role in empowering individuals, entrepreneurs, and small and emerging businesses.
The bank's participation included the signing of a cooperation agreement with Monsha'at aimed at financing entrepreneurship projects, enhancing the capabilities of male and female entrepreneurs, and supporting the creation of quality jobs for Saudi citizens. This will be achieved through the "Entrepreneurship Financing" product, specifically designed to support entrepreneurial projects, along with comprehensive training, consulting, and mentoring programs.
The bank's CEO, Engineer Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Humaidi, also participated in a panel discussion titled "Development Finance: Building a Resilient Saudi Economy." During the discussion, he emphasized that development finance is a fundamental driver for building a more resilient and inclusive economy. He noted that the bank works to empower small and emerging businesses to expand and grow through an integrated system of financing and non-financial solutions.
The bank's interactive pavilion at the forum showcased a range of services and programs that reflect its role in supporting the national entrepreneurship ecosystem. The pavilion featured several platforms for the bank's initiatives, most notably the Dalni Business Center, which offered direct consultations within the pavilion, the Jada 30 initiative, and the Tajseed and Yamam initiatives. Additionally, a section dedicated to productive families allowed a number of national projects to display their products to visitors.
This participation embodies the Social Development Bank's pioneering role in fostering an entrepreneurial environment, establishing a culture of self-employment, and empowering individuals and businesses to achieve their developmental aspirations, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 for a more diversified and sustainable economy.
