The Bank for Social Development concluded its participation in the Forum " Versati 4 " , which was held under the auspices and honour of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal Bin Mullah Bin Saud bin Abdul Aziz, Amir of the Al-Khalim region from 22 to 25 January 2025, with outstanding achievements reflecting his commitment to support business leadership and the development of youth capacity.
The Bank Wing Pavilion at the Forum has witnessed a significant interaction and presence of business leaders and interested persons, to access the various funding services provided by the Bank, to benefit from specialized advisory platforms aimed at project development and to present inspirable success stories. The Bank has also provided visitors with the opportunity to explore the business incubator, Jed. 30, which provides comprehensive support to emerging enterprises, as well as to participate in creative and informative Hakathon.
Engineer Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al-Hamidi, Executive Chairman of the Social Development Bank, said: " The Bank ' s participation in the Forum " Versati 4 " confirms our continued commitment to support youth and promote business leadership in line with Saudi Vision 2030. Through these events, we promote sustainable development opportunities and open promising prospects for ambitious youth to be an active part of the national economy. "
As part of its historical development efforts, the Bank for Social Development of the Minor Region has provided funding amounting to approximately R$ 7.9 billion between social loans, self-employment financing and support to productive families and small enterprises. These funds have experienced significant growth over recent years, with free labour financing and productive families increasing from R$ 49.9 million in 2019 to R$ 184 million in 2024, and the funding of small businesses has doubled to reach 214 million.
The Bank ' s participation at the Forum of Two Four is a continuation of its successful course in previous versions. Since the first version in 2019, the Bank has been a strategic partner of the Forum, with its second edition of 2022 enhancing its presence with further services and initiatives to support business leaders. In the third version in 2024, the Bank provided 20 advisory wings and 20 business support wings, as well as specialized workshops, reflecting its continued commitment to youth empowerment and stimulating business leadership in the Kingdom.
