The Social Development Bank held its meeting for the third quarter of 2024, chaired by H.E. Funding during the third quarter amounted to 1.54 billion rials, benefiting more than 18,000 citizens from various regions of the Kingdom, with the value of supporting free labour practitioners and productive families of 702 million rials, benefiting 9.6 thousand practitioners and families, and financing of small and emerging enterprises by more than 465.278 citizens, benefiting 1.5 thousand.
The report indicated that the Bank ' s efforts continued to enable beneficiaries of financial and savings planning, with 16.3 thousand new savings accounts supported during this quarter, while some 20.4 thousand people benefited from empowerment and development services.

The Executive Chairman of the Social Development Bank, His Excellency Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al-Hamdi, stressed that these achievements were the fruit of the generous care given by the good Government to promote development, highlighting the importance of the Bank ' s role in the process of social and economic development in the Kingdom, through support and funding, enabling small and emerging entrepreneurs to realize their aspirations and deliver their projects on the ground.
His Excellency the President of the Board also extended his thanks and appreciation to the previous members of the Governing Council for their valuable contributions to strengthening the Bank ' s march and role in building a culture of collective action and developing innovative initiatives and affordable financing programmes that contributed to the Bank ' s sustainable development goals.
