The Social Development Bank revealed the results of the third fiscal quarter of the current year 2017, and the approved small and emerging projects, as well as the social loans program.

Supporting the small and emerging enterprises and microenterprises sector

In the third quarter of the current year 2017 AD, the Bank approved (3833) projects with a value exceeding (173) million riyals, in a program that varied between emerging projects, projects of excellence, projects for emerging graduates, loans for micro-projects and productive families, loans for communications projects, and projects A list, where micro-enterprises and the productive families emerging from them had a share of (3231) projects worth (30.3) million riyals, while emerging projects had (438) projects worth (89.6) million riyals, and (126) communications projects were disbursed with a value of (15.6) million riyals. One million riyals, in addition to the bank’s support for graduate projects, where the share of support was for (20) projects worth (6.3) million riyals, and excellence projects for (17) projects worth (31) million riyals, while an existing project was worth (800) thousand riyals.


Social loans
The statistics revealed that the bank disbursed (16,714) social loans distributed among loans (marriage, family, renovation) with a value exceeding (987) million riyals. Marriage loans ranked first in number and value with (11,899) marriage loans worth (705.2). One million riyals, while the share of family loans was (4,575) family loans worth (269.5) million riyals, and housing renovation loans were (237) renovation loans worth (13.1) million riyals.
