The Bank for Social Development concluded the activities of Camp Chefs, one of the qualitative initiatives for the empowerment of families produced in the cooking sector, which was established in partnership between the Bank for Social Development - a representative at the Delney Business Center - and the Graduate Company, and lasted for five months in Riyadh City with 43 beneficiaries, 12 talking experts and 14 specialized advisers.
The camp ' s activities included rehabilitation and intensive knowledge training; to provide participants with the marketing and financial skills needed to manage competitive quality projects in the Saudi market; to provide more than 215 specialized consultations; to develop project visual identities; and to organize educational field visits to identify industrial best practices and recent trends in the cooking sector.
The Engineer Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al-Hamidi, Executive Chairman of the Social Development Bank, confirmed that " The Shaves Camp embodies an effective public-private partnership and represents an integrated system for building the capacity of productive families and enabling them to develop and manage pilot projects, as part of the Bank ' s efforts to move them towards business leadership by providing innovative financing solutions, inclusive enabling services, enhancing project sustainability and a dynamic and diverse economy industry " .
Hamdi added: " The Bank is proud to provide funding exceeding R$ 2.8 billion during 2024m to support over 76,000 productive families and self-employment practitioners in various parts of the Kingdom, as well as to provide non-financial support, such as training and consultation, to enhance the capacity of productive families and to assist them in achieving financial independence and effectively engaging in the labour market. "
For his part, Professor Abdullah Bin Nasser Al-Bader, the executive head of the pastoral company, said: " Our partnership with the Bank for Social Development has had a significant impact on the empowerment of productive families, where the Shafes camp is focused on promoting innovation in cooking, enabling small enterprises to achieve growth and sustainability in line with market requirements, as well as providing the necessary training, and enabling outstanding projects to access new sales, models and performances.
