Cooperation Convention for the Financing of 100 Projects

It was agreed that 100 projects were financed under the Passport programme of the Bank for Social Development and King Salman Business Leadership Institute signing a joint cooperation agreement.

Continuing its support and sponsorship of the Bank for Social Development for the small and emerging enterprise sector, microenterprises and productive families of the Kingdom, the Bank signed Thursday, 9 Rajab 1438h, 6 April 2017, a cooperation agreement with the King Salman Institute for Business Leadership as a sponsor of emerging, distinguished and emerging projects for graduates and inventors.
The Convention was signed by the Bank, His Excellency the Director-General of the Bank, Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulrahman Al-Namla, by the Institute, His Excellency the Dean of the Institute, Dr. Ibrahim Bin Mohamed Al-Harkan, and by the presence of a number of officials from both sides at the headquarters of the General Administration of the Bank, Riyadh.
The Convention was signed on the basis of the objectives pursued by the Bank in supporting, sponsoring and financing small and emerging enterprises in Saudi Arabia, as well as the King Salman Business Leadership Institute being a business leader and aimed at promoting a culture of self-employment, supporting and caring for business leaders and believing that the parties needed to integrate and maintain continuity between those involved.
Under this Convention, it has been agreed to finance 100 projects from the Bank ' s Passports Programme (Emergence, Emerging, Exploring) for a year.
The Bank for Social Development is one of the most prominent funding and supporters of the small and emerging enterprise sector, microenterprises and productive families in the Kingdom, with more than 37A projects in all activities and in all regions of the Kingdom since its inception.
