The Bank for Social Development disclosed a statistical breakdown of the number of beneficiaries of the courses, workshops and training lectures it had provided during 2018 in raising awareness, disseminating financial culture and savings, with 46 thousand beneficiaries and beneficiaries benefiting from those courses and workshops through savings ambassadors from the staff of the Bank ' s branches around the Kingdom.

In more detail about those courses and workshops, the Bank ' s Assistant Director General for the Savings Engineer Sector confirmed that 800 training courses, workshops and lectures were provided to university students, government officials and the private sector, as well as active presence in exhibitions and meetings in the cities and regions of the Kingdom and providing smart courses for visitors to those actors, noting that the sector focused on financial outreach and investment skills and the dissemination of savings skills.

The Jordan indicated that the Bank was seeking to achieve one of its most important priorities in accordance with its statute, to promote savings and savings for individuals and institutions in the Kingdom, to develop tools and programmes to achieve this goal by raising awareness, disseminating financial culture and savings, providing incentives to save, developing adequate savings products, protecting savings, changing a number of erroneous consumption patterns, instilling savings concepts, and balancing income and expenditure, noting that the sector had provided 18 years of savings.
