Empretec is the international program of the United Nations Trade and Development Organization (UNCTAD), designed to develop and strengthen personal entrepreneurial capabilities and build sustainable and competitive “micro, small and medium-sized” enterprises for: wealth creation, local development, job creation and community improvement.

    • Entrepreneurs in large companies involved in small and medium-sized enterprises.

    • Leaders in government and non-profit organizations related to small and medium-sized entrepreneurs.

      

    Program Management in Saudi Arabia:

     The program is provided by the Social Development Bank exclusively in the Kingdom. The program is managed and supervised by the microfinance sector. The non-financial services department in the sector is provided in Arabic to the participants. National trainers accredited by the United Nations Organization for Trade and Development (UNCTAD) have been trained to provide the program locally and internationally.
